LADD, is celebrating its HLADD program’s 5th year anniversary. The Cincinnati nonprofit is one of the leading agencies locally offering shared living/adult foster care in Hamilton County.

Since 2014, the Rudicks have become Eddie’s LADD family and he is a familiar face around their neighborhood, always alert to upcoming events including the Oakley Fancy Flee Flea Market. The Rudicks are one of LADD’s certified foster care providers through our Home Living Arrangements for the Developmentally Disabled, LLC (HLADD). We are celebrating the program’s 5th year anniversary, and are one of the leading agencies locally offering this type of program for adults.

Our adult foster care providers are carefully screened and receive extensive initial and ongoing training that surpasses the state requirements, and are consistently mentored through regular visits by our program manager. We match them with individuals who want to be a valued member of a family and also who want to be actively engaged in their community. In addition to shared living/adult foster care, our HLADD also offers planned respite (temporary in-home care) and emergency respite (immediate and temporary care for individuals who have been discharged from a hospital with no place to go).

Funding for the LADD AFC service is provided by: Medicaid Home Community Based Services through the Level I and Individual Options Waivers; Supported Living Services through Hamilton County DD Services and Private Pay.
