Margaret “Peggy” Bullock Geier devoted her life to helping people with developmental disabilities. She co-founded LADD and Find A Way Apartments for disabled adults, and served as LADD’s first board president. Her joy and commitment to LADD live on in her family and friends.

The Margaret B. Geier Society was created to recognize our dedicated and visionary donors who give $1,000 or more annually to support the mission of Living Arrangements for the Developmentally Disabled (LADD Inc.)

Giving Levels

Lillard Level: $1000-$2499

In honor of Maug Lillard, founding trustee, for the enthusiasm, leadership and commitment she brought to LADD during the formative years.

Robinson Level:$2500-$4999

In honor of Barby Robinson, founding trustee, for her dedication, leadership and support of LADD throughout her life.

McLaurin Level: $5000-$9999

In honor of Kath Spellman McLaurin, MD, founding Vice President. Her support throughout LADD’s history has been unwavering. Her influence and expertise as a physician and community volunteer helped to lay the foundation for the continued success and respect for all LADD serves.

LeBlond Level: $10,000-$19,999

In honor of Minor LeBlond, founding trustee and Board President. Her tenure with LADD includes virtually every volunteer leadership position as well as playing a pivotal role in major agency decisions during its formative years. Her passion helped build LADD into one of this region’s most comprehensive and compassionate service providers that values all people served.

Teese Level: $20,000 +

In honor of Michael Teese, founding trustee. As a person with a developmental disability, he advocated for and provided insight into the values and services on which LADD was founded.
