Supported Employment Program
Job Development, Placement, and On-going Support
The Supported Employment Program assists people with disabilities to acquire and maintain meaningful employment. This program generates a partnership between employer and employee by linking people who can and want to work with employers who need reliable and qualified employees. The program provides the following services:
- Job Development and Placement
- Job Coaching
- On-going Job Support
Job Development and Placement is a primary focus and assists people in obtaining the employment of their choosing by searching a wide variety of job options.
Job Coaching, provided by LADD staff, assists individuals in thoroughly learning the skills necessary to complete their job responsibilities.
On-going Job Support is available to people who are eligible and ensures continued employment success for the long term.
Eligibility
People participating in the Supported Employment Program must be at least 18 years of age and be eligible for services provided by a County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and/or the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission.
