The Community Supported Living Program
Community Living Assistance
The Community Supported Living Program provides support to people with disabilities living in houses and apartments throughout Hamilton County. This program provides supports to people so they may live in the communities of their choice being close to shopping, banks, families, friends, recreation facilities and bus routes.
The Community Supported Living Program provides people support in the areas of:
- Assisting with money management
- Consulting in daily decisions
- Coordinating community resources
- Organizing personal shopping
- Managing health needs, including appointments, medication and follow-up
- Locating and maintaining housing
- Education and support in areas of safety and refining life skills
The Community Supported Living Program can provide support to people as long as they are needed, provided adequate resources are available.
Eligibility
People participating in the Community Supported Living Program must be at least 18 years of age and are usually eligible for services provided by the Hamilton County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. LADD’s Community Supported Living Program Living Program will consider people not eligible for Hamilton County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities services on an individual basis provided the availability of the necessary resources.

Certification
LADD is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities as a Medicaid Waiver Provider and as a Supported Living Provider. Funding provided in part by Hamilton County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. Private Pay Option Available.
CARF Accreditation has been awarded to LADD for The Community Supported Living Program.
